Product Use & Safety

RYD3 creates motorcycle-inspired apparel designed for everyday wear and riding.

Unless a product is expressly identified by RYD3 as armored, protective, or certified motorcycle protective equipment, it is NOT protective riding gear.

Products that are not specifically marketed as armored or protective should not be relied upon to provide impact protection, abrasion resistance, or crash protection of any kind.

Customers are solely responsible for selecting and wearing appropriate certified protective equipment suitable for their intended riding conditions.

Inherent Risks of Motorcycling

Motorcycling, motorsports, and related activities are inherently dangerous and involve risks that cannot be eliminated.

These risks include, but are not limited to:

  • Serious bodily injury

  • Permanent disability

  • Paralysis

  • Property damage

  • Death

No clothing, apparel, or protective equipment—including certified motorcycle gear—can eliminate or guarantee protection against these risks.

Even properly worn protective equipment cannot prevent every injury or fatality.

Assumption of Risk

By purchasing, wearing, or otherwise using any RYD3 product, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You understand the inherent dangers associated with motorcycling and similar activities.

  • You voluntarily choose to participate in such activities.

  • You assume all risks associated with the use of RYD3 products.

  • You are responsible for determining whether any product is appropriate for your intended use.

  • You understand that products not specifically marketed as armored or protective are not intended to provide crash protection.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RYD3, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:

  • The purchase or use of any RYD3 product;

  • Participation in motorcycling, motorsports, or related activities while using a RYD3 product;

  • The failure of any product to prevent injury, disability, property damage, or death;

  • Improper use, misuse, modification, or alteration of any product;

  • Failure to wear appropriate certified protective equipment.

By purchasing or using any RYD3 product, you acknowledge that you voluntarily assume all risks associated with its use and agree that RYD3 shall not be responsible for injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in inherently dangerous activities, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing contained in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
